I am speechless at the stupidity. Apparently this thing is real. The dumbing down of education in the name of "safety" is just terrible. Love the title of the blog this came from. Very appropriate. Found this linked on slashdot.
at a supermarket recently they were doing tastings of peanut paste (peanut butter for the Americans) and had a large and prominent sign saying "WARNING: may contain traces of peanuts"
I asked and was told "well, you never know who has an allergy to peanuts"
Hopefully those people don't go round eating peanut paste
or have we gone so chemical in our food that we make synthetic peanut paste now?
